The Program
The Priim@ program is an ideal and detailed tool which efficiently prepares you for the professional examination of the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) (Order of Nurses of Quebec ONQ). It is available on line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, study at your pace, no matter where you are on the planet.
The Priim@ acronym stands for « Programme de consolidation des acquis pour infirmières et infirmiers par méthode d’apprentissage en ligne ». (Achievement Consolidation Program for Nurses through Online Training).
The training reinforces what you learned during your practical nursing program in CEGEP or your Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in university.
Priim@’s succes
Priim@’s success is built on a sound review of your theoretical and practical knowledge, at your own pace, by testing your skills in an interactive fashion through 63 clinical situations.
These situations promote clinical reasoning, decision-making and evaluation assessment.
While experimenting the platform, you will have access to more than 350 questions, a simulation of the OIIQ exam and be evaluated before and after each learning sequence.
Diversity of study support tools
In short, Priim@ proposes a range of pedagogical strategies to diversify your learning approach in order to maximize your chances of succeeding the OIIQ exam:
- Checklists, quizzes, explanations for both wrong and correct answers, integration diagrams, a reading list, calculations, terminology, references and web links as well as video briefs on stress management and study strategies.

85 % of the OIIQ exam questions refer to the first three main clinical areas which are respectively: medicine, surgery and gerontology and geriatrics while 15 % of the remaining questions are dedicated to the other two areas.
